SRJC Fall 2016 LVN program

Anyone else out there who will be applying to SRJC's LVN program for the fall 2016 cohort? I haven't met or talked to anyone yet and it would be nice to finally be able to! :)

So it looks like the admissions & records office is closed until Jan 4th, does this mean we can't request transcripts until then? Ugh

Have you put in your app yet? I just dropped mine off. Now the waiting begins!

Yes I did turn my app in! i cant believe it fi ally happened. The waiting game is going to be hard now. I think we wont find out until june! Also, Sorry I didn't reply for a while I was out of town!

Ugh, June? I was hoping for mid April at the latest. I can't imagine waiting even longer! I don't get why it takes so long considering the deadline to apply is Jan 15th

Me either. I had asked the girl at the desk out of curiosity and she said June :/ hopefully maybe it is sooner then that though!!

Do you know if we will get an email once they have all the apps in saying it's on file or anything so we know for sure that our transcripts made it there? I sent mine electronically. Did you do that too or did you wall yours in?

I'm not sure. I brought mine in with my app. Maybe you could email the lady who's in charge of the apps?

Yeah I may just call. I think they will get them though because I had them sent there as soon as the grades from fall semester were posted. I'm just nervous about things like that!

I know what you mean, I worry about things like that too. Man, I really hope we don't have to wait all the way until June to find out if we are accepted. That's just such a long time.

God I knowit is a long time but who knows though maybe they could send them out earlier then that. We can hope!

Hey ladies! Congrats on physio and turning in that final step towards becoming an LVN! I turned mine in on the deadline. I wonder how many applicants they got? I'm taking Psych 4 this semester. Because I have a class in progress I am in the third tier. I hope they get to the third tier! Have either of you considered getting a BSN after becoming an LVN? I am doing some research on that.
