I am a UT Houston hopeful applying for the traditional and accelerated nursing program. I will complete my science prereqs (A&P 1/2) in the summer. I will finish up with Micro and Chem in the fall. I am so focused right now. Anyone else out there? :)
A quick question, do we need a UTHSC email address for school and classes and if so how can we obtain one? Also, I plan to park outside medical center, does anyone plan to do the same? Where can i find the UT Shuttle schedule and route?
Thanks.
I'm plan on doing the same thing. The shuttle infomation is on the website look under current student information. It has the maps for the partking lots and the fees and parking schedule.
Kimmy,
Do you remember if you used all of the textbooks that are "required" for the courses? I'm getting ready to order mine but have also heard that we won't use the nutrition book or patho book. I also noticed on the website that "medical-surigcal" books were recommended but not required.
Hey Classmates,
My final hold was lifted this morning (CPR) and I'm finally registered! I noticed that only 8 people (well, guess 9 now that I've registered) are registered - if I'm interpreting the number on the right hand column correctly. In addition, I think someone may have forgotten to register for Health Assessment. There is one less person registered for Health Assessment than the other courses.
Maybe it's not a mistake but I thought I would just mention it.
Does anyone know when tuition is due? I haven't really tried to find the date - just thought one of you might already know.
Thank you!

The lab times are assigned without any requests from the students. You'll get to let them know your preferences for clinical days and times, and the instructor will consider them when making placements. Most people were happy with their clinical placements but not everyone got what they wanted.
