Spring 2011 UT Health Sciences Nursing Hopefuls

I am a UT Houston hopeful applying for the traditional and accelerated nursing program. I will complete my science prereqs (A&P 1/2) in the summer. I will finish up with Micro and Chem in the fall. I am so focused right now. Anyone else out there? :)

I'm in the program now. If you have extra time on your hands, review A&P. If you know it really well, you'll have a much easier time in your classes.

I got one too, i am like what in the world is this? And it says I still need Nutrition and Statistics. I took Statistics in grad school and Nutrition in Undergrad, I hope I can convince them to accept one of those because I really don't feel like taking another statistics class. Anyways, i guess i will give them a call on monday.

Where does it say that you haven't met all your requirements? Shouldn't they have sent this stuff out before interviews.

I actually called them several times to request it and they never sent me one so I assumed the accepted the classes I have. Funny, i will call them on Monday and see what they say. Usually they send it before interviews. oh well. at worst i would have to take classes in the winter mini semeter.

I'm just curious to why they would send it out so late. The worst thing is is that they sent it when we can't call anyone to ask questions. Urrrrggggh

I didn't. Mine says that everything listed below is complete. I guess that I'm fine.

I have two in progress courses, so I will have to send them an updated transcript when I am done this semester (regardless if I get in or not).

You will probably have to wait until Monday to talk to someone...sorry, that stinks! No worries, I am sure it is just them crossing their t's and dotting their i's.

i received my transcript eval over the summer before interviews...but that is because i requested it. i wanted to make sure i had everything squared away along the way...i wonder if they're sending things out to everyone right now???

you guys think we'll here anything this week? or will they really drag this out all the way to the 15th?

i think that we will hear this week or next because they said that letters will go out on the 15th but that they will post on ut link sooner.
