Spring 2011 UT Health Sciences Nursing Hopefuls

I am a UT Houston hopeful applying for the traditional and accelerated nursing program. I will complete my science prereqs (A&P 1/2) in the summer. I will finish up with Micro and Chem in the fall. I am so focused right now. Anyone else out there? :)

hello fellow hopefulls! im new to this forum and was wondering if anyone out there knows if the interview invites are sent out all at once or in batches and if so how long do they normally take to notify everyone? im a little concerned about getting with 2 weeks notice since i live in CA and would have to purchase a flight. i really hate this waiting game

Bxvaldez - I called up yesterday because I was worried if they've sent out all their going to or what. And what the lady said was that they've only sent out the first batch and that they will probably be interviewing into the first bit of October... you should 2 weeks notice, I think they've probably given all they will for the 9/15 - 9/16 interviews.

Does anyone know what order they are offering interviews in? Alphabetical order, date your application file was completed, etc.

All that have received an interview letter, are your last names at the beginning of the alphabet?

MT56- I doubt the interview requests are by last names, since mine starts with a Y (and have received mine via email). It's more likely that they looked at dates applications with all COMPLETED fields (transcripts, prereqs, etc.) were submitted.

That is correct! Is UT - Houston your first choice as well? I'm still waiting on a response from UTMB, so I'll let you know when they call me back. They did ask for a reason for the extension, and I told them the truth. I hope it's a valid reason!

Hey, just got my email for an interview. Received the email at 2:29 PM on Sept. 8th. Interview is on Thursday Sept. 23 at 8:00 AM.
