Hello all!

I am a pre-nursing student at Tarrant County College hoping to get into the Spring 2018 ADN program. I have found allnurses to be extremely helpful in regards to information about student stats and program requirements.

My current stats are:

API: B

APII: A

Microbiology: In Progress

HESI A2: Scheduled next month

I'm currently studying Evolve's HESI preparation book. I wanted to create this discussion for questions, answers, and encouragement for Tarrant County College Spring 2018 hopefuls. I know it's a little early but hey, I'm excited. :)

I forgot to update you guys last week. I got a 93 on the HESI!!!! I could not believe it, I was seriously thinking it was going to be a practice run.

Is anyone planning to go to the info session on the 10th? Or has anyone gone to one and can say what it's like?

My friend said that it basically goes over the whole process of applying and a little bit about the program. I was going to go but then I saw a PowerPoint on the TCC website.

Am planning to apply for ADN program at Tarrant County College for spring 2018.

My statistics are A&P 1 A

A&P 11 A

Microbiology B

Hesi a2

Reading 86%

Grammar 80%

Vocabulary 92%

Maths 94%

Average score 88%. Am praying seriously to get admission.

Those are great numbers Meetdobis2018! I found it helpful to go back a couple of semesters to see what the cutoff numbers were. I know there are Spring 2017 and Fall 2017 threads on here.

Current Stats:

Two As, One B, 90.5 HESI. Feel pretty good about it.

Overall application average (50% Science, 50% HESI) is 91.9.

I'm scheduled to retake the HESI in July. Want to increase my chances.
