Hello all!
I am a pre-nursing student at Tarrant County College hoping to get into the Spring 2018 ADN program. I have found allnurses to be extremely helpful in regards to information about student stats and program requirements.
My current stats are:
API: B
APII: A
Microbiology: In Progress
HESI A2: Scheduled next month
I'm currently studying Evolve's HESI preparation book. I wanted to create this discussion for questions, answers, and encouragement for Tarrant County College Spring 2018 hopefuls. I know it's a little early but hey, I'm excited. :)
Okay everyone, I applied to the ADN fall2018 program with 3 b's in science & a 94.5% on my hesi. I was reviewing all the post on here & looks like my chances of getting in is very little. With this being said I applied to the LVN fall2108 program. Is their anyone else applying to the LVN program?
There is a forum for the Fall 2018 applicants. https://allnurses.com/online-nursing-schools/fall-2018-tarrant-1143963.html and we also have a facebook page for the applicants that was created to Log into Facebook | Facebook
Hi
I am interested in getting my ADN in Tarrant CC and want to know if you finally got admitted. If yes please how is the school? Some people are saying bad stuffs about the sch while some are encouraging me to enrol so I am just sitting on the fence. Does the program encourage work and school at same time? How many days a week do the students meet? Please reply if you can as I am still getting my pre reqs and hoping to enrol soonest

Take your 3 science classes, A=100 points, B=80 points, C=70 points. Add your points up and divide by 3. Then add that number to your HESI score and divide by 2. If your score is a 90 or above, you are "almost" guaranteed acceptance. Anything below a 90, you may or may not get in depending on the applicant pool. HTH!
