I really wanted to take Abnormal Psych instead of Soc, but couldn't work it around ANP 2

I work full time too.

How in the world do you do it? I work full time too and can only manage one class at a time. I also have a husband and a 14 yo. Maybe that's the difference. Kudos to you!!

This spring i'm taking

basic A & P

and I will be taking the NET test to get into the LPN Program so hopefully I will start the LPN program in August of 08. I can't wait i am so done with pre-core classes.

I'm taking CHM 131 in the Spring. Can't wait.

I think the difference is all in the type of job you have. When I was getting my first degree, I worked several different jobs. However, I could study at practically all of them for large portions of my shifts. The job I have now...well....I make a little bit more, but the job is really difficult and doesn't even remotely allow for me to study. So, now I can only muster one class at a time (A&P I in the Spring).

Ha, I forgot all about human dev. and I almost had a cow when a friend reminded me that that class is a requirement and I don't have a clue when I can squeeze that in. The though of me taking a&p11, math for meds and human dev. next fall is so scary to me. I have chills thinking about it.

For spring 08 i will be taking:

pre calculus

Abnormal psychology

Ceramics

and maybe american sign language

i dont even get a break yet! for winter break ill be taking a p1 lecture and lab! ay ya ya....

WantAccel.BSN is right. I think it does depend on the job you have. The job I have right now is 12 hour midnight shifts 3 times a week. It allows me to study all night long. I am going to be moving to another house and I won't have as much time to study because the residents at that house have a lot more physical needs. However, I will still be able to study a lot! I understand on the whole husband and kids. I am married with 5 kids. 4 are still at home. My youngest will turn 2 on the 27th. I feel like I cheat them out of a lot. but I tell myself in the end we will all be better for it. I try to spend as much time as I can with them all, but the guilt is still there.

Wow, some of you are taking so many classes. I'm kinda jealous as I wish I could be a full time student but unfortunately I have to work full-time and I'm a new mommy...

This spring I'm only taking A & P 1....
