Spring 2022 Nursing Program at Suffolk county community college

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello, all future nursing students! I am creating this forum early as I made the last forum for the FALL 2021 program. I found that this is very helpful for questions and to have a support system going through this journey. I am a current Suffolk student that is finished with all of the prerequisites except Micro. I planned to apply for the fall 2021 program but I did not get the grade I needed on the TEAS to apply so I am back at it! Never give up and keep positive! If anyone has any suggestions or helpful resources feel free to comment as this forum is for support! Thanks

I was told the same

Did everyone recieve that email about mandatory professional license disclosure who applied to the nursing program for Spring?

Yes .. I received that when I applied for the fall also I think they just send that out to every applicant

Ahhh was hoping that meant they were reviewing apps already and we'd get word sooner rather then later on a decision.

Honestly I think they will review things sooner this time around because they were so overwhelmed with applications in the fall that they fell behind. They are probably more prepared for the amount that they are going to receive this time.

Agreed. Especially with all these covid vaccination mandates and students may need to prepare with that etc.

I received that on notification on July 1st. It goes out to all nursing applicants.

Hello! I applied for the LPN to RN program last week. I scored a 82.7 on the TEAS! Hoping we all get in.

Hello everyone

I believe around mid October we should get a response from Suffolk. I also believe and TEAS high 70 and above everyone should be good but, I do know someone that go a mid 70 on their TEAS and got into the program.

Really?! That's good to know! Does anyone know if they look more at the TEAS rather than the whole rubric? I got a 90 on the TEAS, but I am more worried about my rubric score as I don't have micro or stats done yet.

The TEAS counts for most of the rubric
