Hello, all future nursing students! I am creating this forum early as I made the last forum for the FALL 2021 program. I found that this is very helpful for questions and to have a support system going through this journey. I am a current Suffolk student that is finished with all of the prerequisites except Micro. I planned to apply for the fall 2021 program but I did not get the grade I needed on the TEAS to apply so I am back at it! Never give up and keep positive! If anyone has any suggestions or helpful resources feel free to comment as this forum is for support! Thanks

I also graduated from the LPN program at Suffolk in May which I figure is what got me accepted since they save seats for their LPN grads
Congrats! Interesting, that's good to know. Funny because before I decided to go back to school I thought about going the LPN-RN route. Smart plan.

Congratulations! How was the LPN program at Suffolk? I just got accepted , if you don’t mind me asking , how many classes did you take per semester ?

I think it's good sign you didn't receive an email yet. I would assume they get the rejections out of the way first. You never know, maybe you got waitlisted. I know people who got in with a proficient score in the high 70's, but that was a few years ago. The program has just gotten so competitive over the years.

I enjoyed it, but some of the professors weren’t the best. Other than that it was alright. We had 2 nursing classes a semester, first semester was two days a week with no clinicals, and then the second and third semester was 3 days a week.
