Published

My journey started from cna, lpn now,I applied for spring 2018 nursing bridge program. I am looking forward to what it has to offer and the challenges ahead. Anything is possible if you work hard and be persistence in reaching every goal you set for yourself. Always keep a positive mind.

Is it showing you are except from the healthcare class on your transcripts?

@futurebsn92 i think that's what i might plan on doing today. I actually might drive down there and meet with a advisor to find out what's going on with my application. I submitted everything before the deadline. My transcripts have been received and posted. I submitted my cpr card and paid the fee waiver. I checked my transcripts and it says intro to healthcare was complete and i have a "s" by it.

@futurebsn92 when do you have to let them know about your decision ? Is it today 11/8/17 or 11/10/17? Maybe they will send out the third wave tomorrow?

So i just called to MDC,i spoke to the rep again. She told me now she can't give me a timeframe or let me know when the next wave is coming out because they are still making selections at this time.

I'm hoping today is the day that i hear something back. From the trends of things it appears that they sending letters out every week and leave a week in between for those individuals to respond back.

It said to accept the seat and pay prior to the 8th which is today. Good luck. Sorry you have to go through all of this.

@futurebsn92 yeah me too.

When I was waiting for my acceptance letter in the second wave it came the week after so I'm assuming maybe next Monday or Tuesday you should get your email.

Yeah, the only thing I'm not too fond of is the whole being a float nurse for two years or so while working for the CSC. Being placed in different hospitals and floors all the time and not knowing where you're going next is not my cup of tea, I'm definitely a routine junkie :/

@nanalove yeah I'll just try again next week

The chances of this happening are slim but you may want to check it out if you haven't gotten anything by Friday:

Either last year or the year before an applicant on here, allnurses, was going through the same thing, high GPA and good HESI scores. They ended up going into MDC and asking why they were looked over during the first and second wave and they found out whomever had done the input of their science grades had put the wrong grades and also the wrong HESI score so their application didn't meet the requirements. It was fixed and they were offered a seat.

Come Monday there's exactly two weeks to become compliant by AO orientation and Thanksgiving takes 2 days away from us. Sending good vibes to everyone still waiting for a decision.

Anyone going to orientation Monday 13th November, 2017 ?
