Spring 2019 Lone Star Hopefuls

I've decided to make this page for anyone applying for the Spring 2019 ADN program at Lone Star CF/K. I'm so nervous and it's still kinda far away! Good luck!

Tips on increasing my a&p score/topics i should focus on? I got a 84 after failing by 2-3 percent a couple of times. I'm scared i might not get in for spring so i want to prepare for the fall! I have the elsevier but i feel like it doesnt help.

Have you tried the Hesi review book? That's what I used. Studied that for 2 days then took the test.

Congrats to you all for applying, and to those who have gotten accepted! I am currently enrolled in Cy-Fair's ADN program and am finishing up my first semseter! I will be done with my textbooks in a few weeks and would like to offer them up for sale to you guys who will be entering the program.

Do you know if textbooks are the same for the Kingwood program?

Thats' tough, as far as I know the Cyfair program is the only program out of all the lonestar that offers the accelerated program. So I'm not sure how that would alter Kingwoods course oultine per semester. I believe so, but I would hate to tell you yes and be incorrect!

I would definitely purchase them but they haven't given us a list of textbooks so I'm unsure of what they're using.

Does anyone know once spring semester is over may 12, do we have any obligations in the summer or do we stop and start back in fall?

I'm not sure. I believe Kingwood is off during the summer? I plan on taking Micro since my Micro is over 5 years old.

That's the same thing I'm wondering also! I wonder if the ppl that have already gotten accepted have had orientation there yet. It's nerve racking!!

i was an alternative for cyfair and kingwood. cyfair was my first choice and was told the chances of getting into cyfair was very slim cause they only accept 40 compared to kingwood 80.
