I've decided to make this page for anyone applying for the Spring 2019 ADN program at Lone Star CF/K. I'm so nervous and it's still kinda far away! Good luck!

Has anyone done their CPR certification yet?

Yes I paid like $65 but that included the book as well.

No, it doesnt say a cost. I've never done a CPR certification so i am a little confused. It says to do the [COLOR=#000000]American Heart Association for Basic LifeSupport. I've gone to a few pages and some certification options say just CPR and other BLS (basic like support). I am assuming I should choose the BLS one. [/COLOR]

Yes regular CPR class and BLS are very different

Has anyone else completed all of their CastleBranch checklist? I am on the alternate list for both the Kingwood ADN and Tomball LVN. I have orientation for the next 2 Fridays for both programs. i am very anxious and hopeful for an acceptance letter. Score 7.472 Kingwood 1st choice

OMG i cant believe i missed this post! Thanks for answering all of those questions for us. Do you know if they have the evening class option for Kingwood or was that only to accommodate the students because of Harvey?

Thank you! Keep your faith high. For the LVN program the letters of intent were due on Saturday and I got the call today. So I'm thinking the timing with be the same for the ADN program

Have you tried Express Family Clinic? They seemed pretty reasonable compared to other places.
