I've decided to make this page for anyone applying for the Spring 2019 ADN program at Lone Star CF/K. I'm so nervous and it's still kinda far away! Good luck!
Not yet! is there a cost? i don't see cost information on the sites
No, it doesnt say a cost. I've never done a CPR certification so i am a little confused. It says to do the American Heart Association for Basic LifeSupport. I've gone to a few pages and some certification options say just CPR and other BLS (basic like support). I am assuming I should choose the BLS one.

If you can, I definitely suggest Arlene Peck for the CPR BLS class! She was very knowledgable and really nice. I feel much more prepared than I did when I first walked in! The cost was $55. Her place is off of Huffmeister and 290 and you can sign up on the AHA website. You have to have the BLS.

Thank you! i will sign up right now with her!

Im not sure if it mattters, but im in the website and the selection for the classes, say BLS instructor, BLS provider, or BLS provider skill seccion. Not sure if i should choose a specific one. TIA
I was accepted to Sam Houston State yesterday, so I will be giving up my seat at Cy-Fair to one of the very worthy alternates!
I know there's still some other schools we're waiting on decisions from (I also applied to UTH but they won't release decisions for a little while longer and I know people who applied to TWU haven't heard back yet either), hopefully all of you are able to be called off the alternate list!

Thank you! You have been very helpful and motivational throughout this entire process. I have a 7.456 out of the 7.488 highest score accepted so I'm praying I'm close enough to get a call back.

I don't think they are going to start contacting alternates until the day of orientation.
