Okay I got picked as an alternate :( ugh i am so bummed!!! I really wanted this. I guess will see what the future hold. I'm trying to stay positive but I feel defeated! Do alternates still have to go to orientation. I haven't got to read the details. I just got out of work.....

Hey everyone, I wanted to ask if anyone knows the minimum scores for both campus that got accepted right away? We all got such a good scores that is surprise to me that most of us got in as alternates...while fall semester had 7.1 minimum score.

I think the cut off was 7.5 for both campuses. I've seen people that got accepted with a 7.552, but others who have a 7.456 are listed as alternates. I've emailed the nursing department for more info. I'll post it here if I find out different info.

ALTERNATES! Fill out those forms and keep your head high! I know a couple people who are waiting for letters from BSN programs. If they get accepted there I know they'll drop Lone Star. Also, many people don't get through they check list on time or fail the drug test. They'll start going through alternates probably next week. WATCH!

Thank you so much Crystal! For those like me with 7.456 or higher that were listed as alternates I just received an email from the nursing director at Kingwood that said I have a good chance of getting in but she can't tell me exactly where I am on the list.
