I've decided to make this page for anyone applying for the Spring 2019 ADN program at Lone Star CF/K. I'm so nervous and it's still kinda far away! Good luck!

Thank you so much Crystal! For those like me with 7.456 or higher that were listed as alternates I just received an email from the nursing director at Kingwood that said I have a good chance of getting in but she can't tell me exactly where I am on the list.

That's good news. I have a 7.456 too. I'll be filling out the form today and turning it in. Maybe that will get us a little ahead if they see us turning them in early.

Oh lord I have a 7.376 so hopefully that's good enough to get in also :(

I wonder if they look at who has taken pharm, A&P 2 and micro when deciding? Idk

I remember reading on the school website that they use HESI scores of two students have the same score. It starts with your HESI A&P score. Then math, vocabulary, reading, and grammar. I could be wrong on the order but I know they start with A&P.

No, because those can be taken in the program and they weren't a requirement to apply. I'm sure they're going to go by scores still.

My math and reading were the highest. A&P was the lowest with an 80 :/ I haven't taken A&P in 4 years and took the Hesi after studying 2 days because I thought there was only 1 slot left so I got the earliest one. I had no idea how the process worked lol I thought that was the last vacant hesi before applications closed. After I took the hesi, more slots popped up. I was so upset.

I know we have all worked so hard to get to where we are. I wish we could all be in together :(

I'm sure you will get into one of them with your scores. It wouldn't let me apply for LVN because my A&P 2 was from 2011. So now I'm having to back track and take everything over. So frustrating. I had A's in both but it didn't count.i got an 80 on A&P, 94 on math, 84 on grammar, 82 on vocabulary and 92 on reading. Critical thinking score was 920. A's in English and A&P 1.
