Just submitted my application for the spring 2013 semester, so now I get to wait for my acceptance/rejection letter starting today! (way to make time move slower) Anyone waiting with me?
Our deadline for Spring, 2013 is September 30. I am taking the A&P II right now and will be taking the HESI in September. We will not find out until sometime in December. I have decided to take a couple of classes in the fall to keep me preoccupied, plus I believe they will help me in nursing school.
Good luck to all applicants!!
My school doesn't require any entrance exams, letters of rec., or previous experience/volunteer work. They judge entrance criteria solely on grades. They look at your cummulative, Science, and last 60 hours I believe. I wish that there was some other things we could do to help our applications look better. I would have loved to have written a personal statement or something to set myself apart from others.
I'm not familiar with all the tests other colleges require. I had to take the TEAS for the other school & ACT for the one I'm going to. What are all these other tests??Congrats on getting to the app process!!
The Kaplan and TEAS are both tests that nursing school's use for entrance. I believe the TEAS is more common, but I could be wrong.. As far as I know there isn't like a standard nursing school entrance exam like how the mcats is for med school..
And thank you(-: Hopefully I'm accepted, but I'm also just glad to almost be done with pre-reqs!

I have to take the Kaplan exam next month, & after that I'll be ready to submit my app to that school. I also have to register for the TEAS, but those programs won't start til summer/fall 2013... Nervous but also glad that I've made it to the application process finally!!
