Spring 2013 Admission

Just submitted my application for the spring 2013 semester, so now I get to wait for my acceptance/rejection letter starting today! (way to make time move slower) Anyone waiting with me?

I submitted my application a few weeks ago to start in Jan of 2013. The deadline is not until September so I still have a lot of time to worry. What type of program did you apply to?

Applications are accepted until August 1 for my nursing program for spring 2013 but you better believe its all filled out ready to go other than my teas test score which i don't take until July 21.

I don't have to have everything submitted until September 1st, but I'm all ready to apply as soon as I take the TEAS, which I'm taking July 23. I won't know anything until early November though as far as if I'm accepted or not. The wait is already hard to bear!

We have to submit the application by July 15. I'm taking the TEAS on the 20th. I'm applying for a BSN program. The last TEAS offered is August 15, so they won't start considering apps until sometime after that.. Grrrr

I'm with you! I submitted my application couple weeks ago. The deadline is July 15, so hopefully I'll hear back by mid-Aug. It's the first school I've applied to and a frist choice because of its location. It's an ADN program.

I just applied to nursing school for the spring 2013! I am soooo nervous. I hear so many horror stories about not getting in. I am applying to a BSN program.

I earned guaranteed admission for spring 2013 so I already know I'm in! I'm finishing up A&P2 and Med Term now and will take Micro in the fall. Once I start in the spring, ALL of my non-nursing classes will be done so I'll be able to focus solely on my nursing classes.

Good luck to those applying for spring 2013!

I'm waiting to hear back for an accelerated program. Application was easy enough and there are no entrance exams, whew. I'm keeping my fingers crossed but trying to forget about it for a little bit too. It will be a few months before I hear back from the school.

Hello! I earned guaranteed admission to my nursing program & this fall I'm finishing up a few courses I need for my degree. I have to take math (ugh), English 2, an intro to computers course, & a CNA class. I can't wait!

Good luck everyone!

Wow! I'm so surprised that pretty much everyone has already applied. My application isn't due until the 1st of October and we find out if we got in around Thanksgiving. Needless to say, I am already quite nervous!

I wish my college did guaranteed admission! Then I wouldn't have to play the waiting game. ;)

My college has weird application due dates (in my opinion). I think it's because they only require pre-reqs when you get into the program. According to their schedule we take gen Ed classes along with nursing classes each semester. The due date for fall admission is March 1st & springs is July 1st.

I went to another college where I had planned to go into the nursing program (I decided against that - the dean of nursing is AWFUL!). We had to have all gen Ed classes finished before starting which is why I have almost all of mine complete (except for the ones that didn't transfer).

The guaranted admission is nice. What wasn't nice was taking the ACT. I graduated HS in 1996 & had never taken the ACT so I was super nervous. I was sure I'd do terrible, but somehow I managed a really high score, surprising even myself!

What kind of admission process do your schools have? And sorry for the long post...I'm a bit long winded sometimes!

I have to take the Kaplan exam next month, & after that I'll be ready to submit my app to that school. I also have to register for the TEAS, but those programs won't start til summer/fall 2013... Nervous but also glad that I've made it to the application process finally!!
