Spinning name badge

Published

How do you keep your name badge from spinning? I get annoyed when I go into a room and my badge is turned around. I have used a badge reel, and the necklace type thing. Maybe if I had really big boobs it would lie flat. Sadly that isn't the case, so it spins.:lol2:

believe me having bigger boobs just makes it worse. My badge and my locater are always just massed in one big clump between my cleavage

I have big boobs but I always clipped by badge to a safety pin on my shirt so it had no options.

I have the same problem. Tried using a regular clip and my badge only half flipped so it was sticking out awkwardly. I have to get into locked rooms to so a reel is more convenient but still flips! I have tried everything from reversing the badge and hanging my nursing pin on it for counterbalance :uhoh3: nothing works. Mine is also always on the wrong side and im constantly getting asked who I am, my name etc. However one of the facilities I work at has an additional badge that reads RN in big letters. It hangs behind the picture one, is longer and double sided so at least when my badge is backwards you can still see the RN.

We are required to have double sided badges also. Psych patients love to be able to see your name while they cuss you out :)

Maybe use one of these clips?

That's what we use, and mine still spins around, or even worse, sticks out sideways.

For the record, I have big boobs and I wear the badge up high.

Am I the only one who has always found it serendipitous that the badge lands face down? :D

I guess your management better try double side printed name badges, That would be good option because when you wore it with lanyard, spinning is natural, unless weight of name badge is not much lanyard.
