Yep you take it home. You use to it to practice, for skills check off, and then you won't use it again. With the exception being maybe for the IV fluids and IV tubing since you'll use that in pharm too. Best advice is to keep it in the trunk of your car.

And to clarify you won't use whatever you're checking off again with the exception of IV stuff. You'll obviously use the skills kit again lol

So I officially know what alternate number I am! I'm number 4 on the alternate list  Really feeling hopeful about being accepted! Can't wait to be notified July 17th and hopefully be moving forward with the process.. seems like there will be SO much to do in a short amount of time if I am admitted.

Been lurking for a while, finally joined. This list of requirements is kinda mind blowing with the deadlines. Do we have to have our end of the drug screen and background check done by the 14th or do our results have to be posted by then?

I would contact that person from our email. I called the same day and she answered right away. The reason i didnt put the name on here is because they will blot it out but yoy should have an email from school about castlebranch requirements..

They said at Orientation today that you need to have done it by the 14th, the results can come in after that....

Has anyone gotten the blood pressure cuff and penlight yet? If so, which one did you buy?

Specializes in TICU, Acute Inpatient Rehab.

Take the guys advice and get a cheap one,

they also sell them at HEC, scrubs and stuff, amazon.

last thing you want is to blow 250 bucks and someone steal it.
