SPC Spring 2019

I've been active on a different thread for people who applied to St. Petersburg College's Nursing program starting in August 2018. I made it on the alternate list (still completing Microbiology-finals tomorrow!), but have decided, with the help of an HEC advisor, not to accept if I get offered a last minute seat based on the fact that my only options for clinicals will be whatever no one else wanted. She said I'll definitely be accepted for January and will have top choice of clinicals/instructors, so I'm happy waiting another four months to start. Who else is applying for the Spring 2019 program?

Good morning everyone, I also got nights at Morton Plant asmo! It was my first choice too. I'm happy I got a baycare facility.

Awesome! I guess we'll be seeing a lot of each other for the next year or so haha. A lot of the HCA facilities were much closer to me, but with the limited night choices I was pretty stoked to get a Baycare location, too.

Hey just wanted to remind anyone who would like to meet up before orientation that I'll be at Natures Table cafe (upstairs and a hard right) at 8:15. I'm female and will be wearing shoes...and glasses :)

Lol, me too. I live in Disston heights, Northside would've been a hop, skip, and a jump to it. Hopefully the baycare drive pays off. My name is Corey, hopefully I'll meet you tomorrow.

I'll be there Alexis, shoes will definitely differentiate you from the crowd lol. I'll be in sandals and khakis:p. Maybe a button up polo long sleeve too.

Does anyone know how long this orientation will last ?

Alexis , yes I'll meet everyone up in the cafe not sure what I'll be wearing but I'm 6'5 and pretty easy to find in a crowd

Oh wait how did I miss that? I only heard about the critical thinking workshop on 12/2. Where is the info for the study skills workshop?

They said they will send emails out and we'll have to register for each one as there are only so many slots for each one so don't panic just yet I only have the one for 12/10 in my notes as well
