SPC Nursing students??All B student

So I am going to apply to SPC's RN program for the Jan 2010 semester. I have everything but my Micro/Lab finished. I know they look at your GPA from certain classes and I have all B's in those classes. If I get an A in my micro classes, do you think they will even consider me for enterance into the program? I know how picky they are! has anyone gotten into the program with a 3.1 GPA or anything? I am kind of putting all my eggs in this one basket! Thanks in advance!!!

Well there is still EAYL right? I got on the alternate list, but that doesn't do me any good right now. It says they can let you know if you made it right up until the week right before classes start. Not much notice to my current job. I called to see if they would tell me how far downt he list I was and the lady was super rude and said everyone is busy until 7. Hopefully EAYL will take me! Good luck next Friday. My interview is at 9..maybe we will see eachother.

That alternate list is a teaser!!! Its like..well you were ALMOST good enough to make it...BUT we will string you out as long as possible to let all of your hopes and dreams just hang out there until we decide to tell you your life has changed...lol My interview is @ 9 too! I went and got a nice interview outfit and stuff. I think they only take 12 or 15 people I heard! OMG..I am so nervous! Good luck to you!

No kidding. They could at least tell you how many alternates and what number you are. Of course they don't. Even if you do get selected you don 't get to pick day or evening..they give you whatever is left. Sucks. Oh well...next week I can start re-freaking out again after we interview!!!

R U serious? I would definitely go over there and ask. Are you on the alternate list? Do you have all of your pre-req's completed? I'm on the alt list, but I'm still missing Micro.

I am currently taking Micro but that doesn't even have to be completed until the third term of the nursing program. I have called but they won't call back so I guess next week I am going over there. I am on the alternate list but I think everyone is..... Well good luck to you.
