SPC Nursing Fall 2018

Published

Hey Everyone!

Thought I would be the first person to start a SPC Nursing Fall 2018 thread. Even though we still have one semester left before applying, I thought I would start a thread to get the ball rolling and to see where everyone stands. If are applying for the program in Fall of 2018, please let us know the amount of credits you will have at the time of applying and what your cumulative and program GPA's are. As for me, I will have 30 of 30 credits completed and a cumulative GPA of 3.9, with a program GPA of 4.0.

Hi everyone! I as well have been accepted to start the program in the fall. I was wondering how everyone sees their clinical sites? I go underneath myspc and then myschedule and hit August 2018 and see that I have days and it lists one instructor. Is that my clinical site instructor or the lab and classes one? I hope someone can help me out. Thank you so much!

I'm in the night program and my instructor is Felicia Pryby for everything. We definitely need to get together a great study group and kill this!

How did you find out your clinical site? Is it the number under class? Mine says 2007 and the class number for Florida Hospital N Pinellas is 2007. Is that how you figure out which one?

I first went to print tuition and fees and saw where my clinical site was by the class#. It shows who your clinical instructor is also. Then I went into My Schedule and clicked on August 2018 and that showed the instructor for lecture/lab.

Thanks! I believe I got my first choice then :)

Yes, the class # is per the list of choices we had.

I actually have 6 pages because I have lived in various cities and states and they have to check all of them. I would definitely call them first thing in the morning. I think they open at 8 am EST. Let us know what happens.

So, heart attack averted! I called this morning and the representative said the reason for those results is because I am under 25 with little to no credit history and that is a common result for anyone who fits that criteria.

Whew! I bet you are relieved!

Cool! My instructor is Felicia Pryby for lecture/lab, but I have Anna Nuezil, Carolyn Kerns, and Felicia Pryby for the clinical site. Where is your clinical site?

You have three instructors for your clinical site? I wonder if they'll all be there or if they'll switch off haha.

I don't know how it works to be honest because some sites have the same clinical instructor. They can't possibly be at those places at once. haha!

This may have been discussed already, but has anyone gotten their physical already? Did anyone go to SPC to get it? I heard they do them for free but when I call, no one knows what I am talking about.
