Hi everyone! I thought I'd start a whole new topic for those who applied to Southwestern's Fall 2017 cohort. This is the first time I've applied for a nursing program, so I am very excited and nervous of whats to come. I'm curious to see the amount of points you have totaled so I know what I'm up against. I totaled my points to be 74/75, so that may be low compared to some of you. I wish everyone luck and I hope to see you in August!
It does change and get more relaxed in 2nd semester but first semester you are there basically Tuesday 10-4, Wednesday is your clinical so that is a 8-12 hour day, and Thursday is your pharm class I think 10am to noon. If you want to send me a private message I can share my syllabus and anything else I have.

Yes please!!!!
Thank you for sharing this information! Is it pretty even with the amount of students taking AM and PM classes or do they ask you your preference and try to split everyone down the middle?
I think I would prefer to take AM classes..
I live 15-20 minutes away from the Otay Mesa campus so that's why SWC was also my first choice.
My friend is currently in her 2nd semester and takes afternoon/evening classes as well BoBayla. I wonder if you know her! I'm leaning towards afternoon/evening classes because it will fit my schedule better with work. My friend told me they have 40 students for AM and 20 students for PM. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone.
