Hi everyone! I thought I'd start a whole new topic for those who applied to Southwestern's Fall 2017 cohort. This is the first time I've applied for a nursing program, so I am very excited and nervous of whats to come. I'm curious to see the amount of points you have totaled so I know what I'm up against. I totaled my points to be 74/75, so that may be low compared to some of you. I wish everyone luck and I hope to see you in August!
HAHAHA omg I thought I was the only one that did that!!! I've literally been checking everyday to see if I sent it to the right email, etc. Gosh, it really would've been nice though if they just emailed us back -_-;
Also, about the stethoscope, I bought mine at a scrub store (Littman Classic III) for when I did my CNA program. It was called Life Uniform but it's closed now. There's also Scrub Mart and Love Scrubs that I know of. And it was around ~$100 or a little more than that. I didn't wanna get the cardio one cus I felt like that it was too much and too expensive. Maybe if I specialize or something later on. A stethoscope is an investment so it's up to you how much you wanna spend :)

I've double-checked, actually quadruple-checked my acceptance confirmation email to them to make sure I sent it to the right email haha. Just have that little fear of, what if it never sent -- but says it is sent? You know, silly possibilities that come up that you fear will hinder you from actually being in the program :)
