This is the Moment

This is the moment, This is the day

When I send all my doubts and demon on their way

Every endeavor I have made ever

Is coming into play is that here and now today

This is the moment this is the time

When the momentum and the moment are in rhyme

Give me this moment this precious chance

I'll gather up my past and make some sense at last

This is the moment when all I've done

When all the dreaming scheming and screaming become one

This is the day see it sparkle and shine when all I live for becomes mine

For all this year I've face the world alone and now the time has come to prove to them I can make it on my own

This is the moment, My final test

Destiny beckoned I never reckoned second best

I wont look down I must not fall

This is the moment thus with this moment of them all

This is the moment damn all the odds

This day I'll never I'll seat forever with my gods

When look back I will always recall

Moment of moment

This was the moment, The greatest moment of them all

singers kinda pitchy in the end. but its still a good song.

One of my favorites: Shania Twain - Up!

"Up!"

It's 'bout as bad as it could be

Seems everybody's buggin' me

Like nothing wants to go my way--

yeah, it just ain't been my day

Nothin's comin' easily

Even my skin is acting weird

I wish that I could grow a beard

Then I could cover up my spots

not play connect the dots

I just wanna disappear

[Chorus:]

Up--up--up--

Can only go up from here

Up--up--up--Up

where the clouds gonna clear

Up--up--up--

There's no way but up from here

Even something as simple as

Forgettin' to fill up on gas

There ain't no explanation why--

things like that can make you cry

Just gotta learn to have a laugh

[Repeat Chorus]

Oh yeah, yeah, yeah...

When everything is goin' wrong

Don't worry, it won't last for long

Yeah, it's all gonna come around

Don't go let it get you down

You gotta keep on holding on

It's 'bout as bad as it could be

Seems everybody's buggin' me

Like nothing want to go my way--

yeah, it just ain't been my day

Nothin's comin' easily

[Repeat Chorus]

Oh-- I'm going up [4x]

Oh yeah, yeah, yeah...

"back in black" by AC/DC...just change black to white as you come back as an RN!!!!

My song was "Theme from a NOFX Album", by NOFX. While an acquired taste, it always got me though; first nursing school, then the NCLEX. But maybe it's more about relaxtion and calm/comfort than the music itself...

Cheers,

Tom

1 st time: Failled Nclex answering the full amount of questions using up every minute of the clock

2 nd time: listened to Air Supply's, "Making Love Out Of Nothing At All". Over and Over and Over again (single's track), and passed the Nclex, shuts off at the bare minimum (64?)

Everyday while going to nursing school I played a CD that I made for myself which I considered "motivational and inspirational."

The song progression was: "This is It"......followed by "Danger Zone" .... followed by "Ain't No Mounton High Enough"

You can be sure I'll be blasting those songs out on my way to the testing center!!!!!!

For retakers:

"I Won't Get Fooled Again"

by The Who
