This was just posted on the face book page OHio RN to BSN Forum
The Ohio Board of Nursing recently made changes to licensure requirements that included the mandatory addition of a clinical experience into Ohio University's curriculum. Due to this change, we have had to temporarily discontinue offering the RN to BSN completion program to residents outside of Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Michigan, and West Virginia.Because of these changes, we will not be able to admit you to the RN-BSN program at this time. If we have made a mistake and you do reside in one of the above listed states, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can work with you to reopen your application.
Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this may have caused you and the delay in your education. A refun... d of your application fee will be sent to your home address in 8 to 10 weeks. Your application will be kept on file in the event that we are able to reopen the program to residents of your state.
If you have any future questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call our office.
You can start Western Governors at anytime. It is go at your own pace. You may be better off in the long run about all this! I know Ohio University is losing a lot of money based on the Board of Nursing decision.
I still cannot find anything about this on the Ohio Board of Nursing website. I kept digging around and digging around and just couldn't find this. Maybe it happened several months ago, I didn't go back that far.

I was kicked out because I hadn't taken a nursing class yet as nobody told me what I was suppose to be taking. As my advisor conveyed to me last week "people pretty much take what they want when they want' with 'no clue' as to 'what' I should be taking. 3 days ago she finally emailed me the schedule of nursing classes and when they were offered. So again I am so sorry I put my faith in OU,kicked me in the butt big time, my opinion.
