Sock color and school req.

Published

My nursing school requires white shoes (ugh). Do white socks work with white shoes? All I have is a set of navy and dark grey socks.

Why would I be giving them ammunition to hassle me? I'm asking about how to match shoe and sock color. This is completely unrelated to my post.
Sorry - my misunderstanding.

If it's not a matter of the school dress code, i.e., it doesn't specify what color to wear, then a sock that "works" is any sock that absorbs perspiration and keeps your feet comfortable.

I must be missing something. Is this a real question? Nah, can't be. We can't seriously be agonizing --or even concerned-- about socks matching pants or shoes. You know what? Nobody will care. I'd recommend "plain" in white or whatever color your pants uniform is, so as not to stand out, as amoLucia was trying to get you to understand, but otherwise ... phooey, why am I writing this much about this? Honest to god. Go to MallWart and get some damn socks.

I just did white. It works! Thanks, everyone, for your feedback!

Make sure you are allowed to wear clogs. Most schools do not allow clogs.

Buy some white socks. They're cheaper than the white shoes.
