So who is still waiting on a letter?

And when do you expect to hear? And how many letters are you waiting for?

Feeling like we need to keep track of what's going on and who's expecting ,what, when. :)

Batman, it took forever to get my results. I ended up calling NLN after 2 weeks and they swore they mailed them but made me wait another full week until they would remail it. Needless to say, it never came so I had to call them again....It ended up taking almost a MONTH to get my scores!

What a pain!

Has your mm come today? I get it gets to you today or tomorrow.

I hunted down my mm today and they weren't there. I have the best mm ever. lIf they don't come by Saturday I will definitely call Monday morning. I won't make it a month!! :lol2:

:monkeydance::monkeydance: heck not only am i waiting on a acceptance letter im still waiting on my interview! the school i applied to must be a slower school then others they are still taking their pretests to get in.............the waiting is going to drive me nuts!!!

Already heard from 2 schools..did not get accepted :o..but waiting to hear back from the community college programs I also applied to..(3 of them)..also applied to 2 respiratory therapy programs(back up plan)..the wait is killing me, but part of me is prepared for rejection..I have a 3.42 and apparently it isint good enough around here ( My A & P classes, micro, Algebra were all Bs , Comp was an A and Chem was an A, but it was a retake from a previous grade of C)those are the classes I have chipped away at for the past 3 years(have 4 kids and hubby has 2 jobs), but previously attended CC and those old grades are affecting my GPA..I am frustrated at the system and the fact that there are not enough instructors..to top it off, the Community Colleges have gotten together and decided to unify their acceptance policies..rumor has it that Chem is going to no longer be a qualification..doesn't make sense, seems like they will be "dumbing" down the system and will now make it so that even MORE qualified applicants wont get in (state of Ct. turned away 2,000 qualified applicants last year)..I am sorry to go on about this..I have vented on another post about this..I like coming here b/c everyone understands the "game"..my family means well, but they say stupid things like" well, if you don't get in then it wasn't meant to be" or "try harder next time", they just don't get it..I worked so hard, we all have...I congratulate everyone who got in.:balloons:...and good luck to those who are waiting like me...(and going crazy):idea:

I'm still waiting on three..I've got one acceptance so far..but, it's more along the lines of my safety fall back program, but I did just get a 50% academic scholarship to that program, so that's nice. :) I should be getting one more this month, one mid april and the other (of course my top choice) in earlyish may. ugh!

Im waiting for my letter in the end of May I still have to take the pre entrance nursing exam I have a 4.0 so maybe I should do ok on the test but will see. Im so exited to see if I get in. Gotta Get In TOo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i am waiting on a letter due in may ...and i have to start in june (with testing out of my first semester nursing courses, lvn to rn program)...now that is crazy to me

I applied to National University here in San Diego in Oct 06 and am still waiting for a letter. It is only supposed to take 3months (4 at the most). It is now going on 6 months and driving me absolutely crazy. I have called and called but still no decent response. I would really like to know soon so I can plan accordingly.

Hi everybody,

I am waiting nervously for the letter from ACC here in SE Texas. I have only applied at one CC, so I am really nervous about getting in. My pre-reqs are done with a 3.83 gpa, but there only 60 seats, and I really want to get in the first time. there are a couple of hundred applicants each year, and I am admittedly nervous. Funny thing is that the people who were admitted to the program last year were some of the people I beat on tests in science classes. I haven't applied previously, or I think I would have gotten too; especially since my test scores were always higher than the people who did get in.

I'm just nervous because I didn't apply to all the other schools in the outskirts. I only want to get into this one program at ACC rather than drive all over SE Texas to go to whatever school will take me. If I don't get in at ACC this year, I will apply to all the other schools next year.
