It's really confusing how CUBANO30 failed the exam with 12-15 SATAs. Atleast gives me an idea of not being overconfident come June 10. I hope God hears my prayers as I had a lot of sacrifices for this exam. I hope my NCLEX be the last, god willing. Good luck to those taking the exam.tnx alot to those who had helped.

SATAs are only a format of a type of question, they do not judge level by the fact that you got one; but on what it was asking for in the question.
Also be aware that 15 questions on every exam are freebies, they do not count, but you do not know which ones that they are.
I would not focus on how someone else did, but only that you are prepared. Some that post here have gotten only one of two of them and actually a few have not had any and they all passed.

Suzanne-but if someone gets SATA question (and it is not freesbies) and will select let's say 3 good answers, but it didnt select another one that should be selected, then this question counts as a fail?
Thanx!

I really can't say for sure. I took mine on May 17th and I got 23 brutal SATA's. My test shut off at 75 and I passed, but I felt the exam was very difficult. I usually breeze through nursing exams, but the SATA's were really slowing me down. Sometimes I would get a run of 2 or 3 otherwise every other question was a SATA. Good luck! I know another girl who got 25 and passed and someone else who got 3 and passed. I don't think you can really tell if you passed by how many SATA you get.

I have only taken Nclex once but I have read here on this board people having 20 SATA and then people like me who had 2. I passed and so do those who had 20. Like stated SATA is just a type of question. I did not have any of the newer drag over questions and I had 2 or 3 easy math questions. I only had a few quesitons on the same type of topic.
As far as the post of the SATA and you pick 3 of the right answerers but not the 4th is that questions wrong then? Yes. You dont get partial points for answering half the question correctly.
Interesting side note, my friend took her Nclex the very next day and we compared questions and we had a handful that were exactly verbatim the same. word for word exact--we are guessing they were some of those tester 15 questions.
Here is to hoping that everyone that has yet to take Nclex relax...I swear the anxiety is worse than the actual test. If you do the preperations by doing as many practice questions as you can,and relax enough so that your able to retrieve the information you know, you will be fine!~!:heartbeat
