So happy! I can't believe I finally get to post one of these!

I got accepted to nursing school!!!!!! I got my letter last night and I am in!!!! I seriously think this is the happiest day of my life! I am still in shock and so grateful...all my hard work paid off and I'm finally getting to live my dream!:heartbeat

I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU AND PROUD TO SAY I CAN RELATE TO YOU BECAUSE I JUST FOUND OUT THAT I GOT IN.:lol2::nurse: I CRIED LIKE A BABY WHEN I GOT THE NEWS:crying2:. I RECEIVED A LETTER IN THE MAIL AND MY CLASSES BEGIN ON JAN 12 2009, IT HAS TAKEN ME FOUR YEARS OF TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS (CONSTANTLY MOVING,DEPLOYMENTS, PREGNANCY, AND PREREQUISITE NIGHTMARES) TO FINALLY GET TO THIS POINT AND IT WAS SO WORTH IT. MY HUSBAND IS CURRENTLY DEPLOYED AND I HAVE 2 KIDS (8 MONTH OLD AND 5 YEAR OLD. I DIDN'T REALLY HAVE ANYONE TO SHARE THIS MOMENT WITH ME BESIDES MY KIDS AND EVERYONE HERE. I APPRECIATE EVERYONE FOR POSTING THEIR EXPERIENCES THROUGH THE PROCESS THAT THEY HAD TO GO THROUGH BECAUSE IT TRULY KEPT ME GOING, ESPECIALLY WHEN I FELT EXTREMELY DISCOURAGED.

That is great, congrats! I got my letter today and I am in, too. Couldn't have come at a better time as today is my 30th b-day :) What a great gift!!! Good luck to you and the rest of us accepted, and good luck to those still plugging away at it. Took me my 2nd try to get in, but the hard work and dedication was well worth it.

Not to butt in, but I was just reading your response and I had to tell you congrats. I got in, too, and I am so happy for all of us who have worked so hard. I used to be in the Air Force and I can relate to all of that deployment/military "stuff" that goes on. I went to school part time the 7 yrs I was in the AF and finally got my BSBA, but I am now following my dream of becoming a nurse and just can't describe my excitement. I also have a child, almost 18 months, and school and taking care of a child is a lot of work! Congrats again and best of luck to you!!!
