Snow Blizzard in Chicago and Indiana

Published

Is anybody scheduled to take there nclex exam tomorrow in Chicago or Indiana because if so are the testing centers gonna be open because we got 19 inches of snow last night and it's still snowing right now. I've been calling the testing center in Indiana and no one is answering the phone. If we are not able to get to the testing center do to the snow will pearsonvue refund the money or change the testing date? What should I do? I know the roads are not gonna be clear or safe by tomorrow to drive morning. This is so messed up I just wanna take my test!!!

I would reschedule.

Some colleagues of mine were scheduled to take it Tuesday and they sent out emails at 7:40 saying that the testing center was closed. Haven't heard whether it's open or closed today but I would assume by tomorrow they will for sure be open. If they do happen to be closed, you are able to reschedule. I'm in Indiana.

okay so I will get a email by tomorrow if the testing center will be closed. How bad is the snow in Indiana?

I'm in Michigan and there is a lot of snow outside here also. Thank God I took my test last week, but I can't go out looking for a nursing job because the roads are bad. If I were you I would go to the website and find a contact number there and contact someone in the main office and find out what to do. Good Luck!

I'm in Texas, mine was scheduled for Tuesday but we got an ice storm and mine was cancelled. I called the center in the morning and they had a message saying the center was closed. I also received an email and a phone call from Pearson informing me as well.

So I had to reschedule and it took over an hour on the phone with them (on hold for the most part) to get a new date and the earliest date was nearly at the end of the month, but that's all they had. Good luck with yours!

I'm south of Indianapolis and our roads are fine. Schools are closed in Indy tomorrow so I would assume they are not great, but you should definitely be able to get there. North of Indy, on the other hand, has quite a bit of snow and ice.

Well chicago is pretty much shut down right now we got over 20inches of snow and all of the side streets are bad no one can get there cars out from under the snow. So Im hoping that I can reschedule as soon as possible.

So did you have to go in? I live on one of the main streets in Chicago and they couldn't even get that one cleared! I can't image how the side streets are. I haven't even gone further than a block from my house since Tuesday evening. LOL :lol2:
