Hi all,

Just thought I would start a thread to see who applied for the upcoming 2018 cohort. I also wanted to check in and see how your experience has been so far through the application process. As for me, so far, I think I'm doing really well! I scored a level 2 on the RN fundamentals exam, had a great interview, and now I'm locked in with my finances. Just waiting for the phone call from SJVC to tell me if I've been accepted or not.

I believe there are only 24 seats for the bridge program and over 100 applicants. It's more competitive than I thought, especially because it's a private college.

We're supposed to hear by October 15th. Good luck to everyone!! :)

Has anyone applied for the loan through sally Mae ? If so how long did it take to get the approval from them ?

They'll give you an answer within a couple of minutes.

This 'waiting it out' is my biggest weakness. I know we all worked really hard to be where we are all at and I'm okay to know either way.

Usually no news is good news but I don't know in this case. Ahhhh.... I sit so anxiously.

Has anyone received several emails about the importance of making sure finances are in order before being accepted into the program?

I feel I've lost the little hope I had... no emails regarding finances for me.

Are they coming straight from sjvc?

Jecell.soliman did you receive emails from sjvc prior to receiving acceptance call regarding 'getting finances arranged'?

I received the email and so did my friend. I think they sent the email to everyone.
