Did yall see on their page how they might not accept a Spring cohort?!

Hi guys!!

I will also be applying to the program! I have finished the prereqs, kinda bummed that they made it big 8 and not big 5. My GPA is pretty average but hoping the cutoff isn't super high this semester.

Anyways I will be taking my TEAS on Sept. 1. Will post my impaction score after I take it! Good luck all, we got this!

Hi yall! Applications are opening soon and I just wanted to post my stats here to get it started ☺️

My big 8 GPA is 3.85 and TEAS score is 87.3%. That brings my impaction score to 6.76!

Im not too happy with my score, but I wanted to try applying with this before retaking my TEAS and reapplying! It does say on the SJSU nursing website that Spring 2021 may not admit students (depending on how bad COVID19 gets), but we should all apply anyways! (We won’t get a refund)

You have great scores!! I think you will have no problem getting in.

;-; awe thank you! I hope you do well on your TEAS ❤️

Hi guys! I'm applying too. Hoping that COVID doesn't cause the Spring 21 cohort to be canceled.

I hope so too. What is your impaction score?

Hi everyone,

anyone have an idea of how the impaction score will be calculated for the coming application process.

I checked out the info slides and it says GPA will be 2/3 of the score, while 1/3 will be TEAS.... which means GPA will be weighted even more than before, right LOL.

Hi!

does anyone know if sjsu will accept TEAS scores if we take it online?

Uhh I don't know if I'm answering this too late but I'm pretty sure that sjsu doesn't take online TEAS scores (?) u might have to double check though...

I have no idea.. haha IDK how to calculate mine either like at all. I am a Baccalaureate student so my classes are weird. My labs are separate from my lectures so I have no idea how they’re supposed to calculate that. I also have 2 AP exam scores. I believe it says that they look at your first class... I have like 6 Chemistry classes . Unfortunately got a B for my first one and A in the lab So IDK. I’m lost LOL. Do you know if I can talk to an advisor besides the coordinator? I don’t want to overwhelm her, I’m sure she has lot on her plate.
