I'm currently a prenursing student at CSULB, and I'm almost done with my pre reqs for SJSU. I just need to take my human development class this fall and I'll be good to go :) I've taken all the other pre reqs and have taken my TEAS twice. I'll be posting my impaction score once all of my pre reqs are done !

Hey I'm also a CSULB potential trasnfer. I was wondering what you did for the Chemistry Pre Req since Chem 140 doesn't trasnfer to SJSU.

hey !! sorry I just saw this but I actually emailed one of the advisors and they were able to substitute their Chem requirement with Chem 140! her email is -------------------------------. hope this helped ?

HI everyone, I hope you guys are doing okay, despite it all. I know this process can be stressful ?

I read on the information packet that we should be getting our transcript paperwork done a month before the deadline for nursingCAS. Can anyone else confirm that?

Should I be starting to submit my course equivalency/ substitution forms as well? If anyone is on the same boat and have taken courses elsewhere? or have AP credit. Please lmk

I also believe that the school itself does not need official transcripts, unless you get accepted into the program.

I will be taking my TEAS in August. I was supposed to take it tomorrow, but I don't think I am fully prepared. The other school I am applying to only looks at your first passing attempt so I didn't want to risk it all.

If anyone has any TEAS tips, I'd greatly appreciate your input.

I am seeking a second bachelor's in nursing and I hope to be eligible to apply for Spring 2021. If everything goes as planned ?

I hope everyone is not too stressed aha.. especially with the pandemic and stuff so stay safe! I just wanted to make sure that the Big 5 is now the Big 8. I hope that doesn't make the cutoff even higher..

I just took the TEAS and I did good overall, but my reading score came out lower than expected so I'm planning on retaking it one more time before applying.

Yes they will since all or almost all the TEAS exams are online.

Hi yall! Applications are opening soon and I just wanted to post my stats here to get it started ☺️

My big 8 GPA is 3.85 and TEAS score is 87.3%. That brings my impaction score to 6.76!

Im not too happy with my score, but I wanted to try applying with this before retaking my TEAS and reapplying! It does say on the SJSU nursing website that Spring 2021 may not admit students (depending on how bad COVID19 gets), but we should all apply anyways! (We won’t get a refund)

Did yall see on their page how they might not accept a Spring cohort?!

YAH I SAW! I got an email about it too. I really hope that the pandemic gets better and Spring sem happens...
