I actually had a meeting with my advisor talking about this and she was like not really sure how they were going to calculate it LOL, but yah they're planning to do that for the upcoming semester. Hope yalls started on applications too because it kinda be confusing.. hah

Aww man do you know if a non-SJSU student can talk to your advisor? Well I mean, it’s worth the try. I read if they end up cancelling this upcoming semester, it won’t count as an attempt so that’s cool, kind of. The uncertainty definitely doesn’t help at all. I agree super confusing, entering grades is ?

Yes I believe so ? I hope so. LOL it was confusing to me for a bit. But yeah, I’m pretty sure I’m still eligible. I hope the Spring semester is less competitive but I could be totally wrong. I just think that they probably get more applications for Fall because it’s open to everyone. Yes, same here I’m scared of making a mistake and risking setting back my app. Thank you so much though, I appreciate it so much. I will reach out to her as soon as I can.

I hope we all get in :)! Following the Big 8 GPA + (TEAS/30), what are your impaction scores if you don't mind me asking?

Just following this because we have no idea how the 2/3 GPA and 1/3 TEAS will work ?

I truly hope so! I hope I can get in anywhere really LOL. I will take it. My impaction score is difficult to calculate since my labs and lectures are separate. I also have AP scores.. so that takes care of 2/8.. considering this I want to say 6.56. I don't know if this is competitive but I wanted to give it a shot. I only took TEAS once, and I might retake it and apply for Fall 2021 as well, since those apps are due next febryary, right?

Thats what I plan to do for my TEAS too! Fall is definitely harder because there would be transfer students. Those apps are due in feb ?

How are you guys calculating your impaction scores since it's 2/3 GPA and 1/3 TEAS now?

Yes, I might just wait too to see if maybe requirements will change. With health-care experience and all. I don't know yet.. haha but will definitely try to submit for Spring. I am just waiting for my substitution forms to be approved, hopefully.

I don't really know if we are are just supposed to multiply our GPA and TEAS scores with those ratios. I think we are just using the old method for now just to get an idea haha.

We have no idea yet. But whats your impaction score with just the big 8 and TEAS/30? On the BS Information packet, this is how they are going to calculate it, but it says otherwise on the slides.
