Hey guys, I have not yet seen a thread for the SJSU Spring 2018 Nursing Program... so I decided to make one! I know it's a little early to start posting, but I am too excited and wanted to meet others that are applying! Here is a thread for all questions/concerns/comments! Hope to see and meet you all!!

Hey! That's awesome, do you know if we can send in transcripts before the applications are open? I'm confused on how all of this works D:

Yes! You can send in your transcripts early if you made an acc with nursingCAS. I sent my transcripts in like a month early bc I was scared they weren't going to get processed in time.

Im having an issue that hopefully somebody might have some insight on ): So I applied for Fall 2017 as a transfer, and obviously didn't get in. Im trying one final time since Im now attending SJSU for the spring 2018 program. Last time I did the application, all my transcripts had been "verified". As I was getting my profile ready for this time around, I noticed that the status for one of my transcripts had changed to "received". All my other transcripts stayed "verified". I re submitted my transcripts a few days ago and received an email that there were received and processed, but that one transcript is still "received". Ive emailed them my problem and am waiting for a reply. Im really worried since the app is opening today, and its not my fault what they do with my transcripts. I hate nursingcas so much ugh.

Hi everyone! So I opened the NursingCas and noticed that application is for Fall-2017...Is it also the same fro y'all or am I doing something wrong? Sorry, new to all this. Also, where can we request our transcripts for nursingcas?? I am so lost.

Its already 11:30 PM and the program still hasn't opened. Has anyone heard what is the new date then??

I think the Fall 2017 application on NursingCAS is actually for Spring 2018, but they made a typo and put Fall 2017 instead. If you guys choose the Fall 2017 application, and look at the Program Materials section, it'll mention Spring 2018 in the description. The supposed Fall 2017 application deadline somewhat matches up with the Spring 2018 application deadline too.

I actually already had applied to Fall 2017 last year so I still have it in my applications, and I never saw anything about Spring 2018? For me it says the deadline for Fall 2017 was 9/16 which passed obviously. There is already a separate link for Spring 2018 and when you click on it it says "program coming soon".

It says 9/16/17 for me. This is my first time applying, so I'm not sure how this whole thing works. Where did you find the separate link? I emailed the Nursing department earlier today, so hopefully they'll reply Tuesday.

Ah thank you!!! I have another question sorry :( So do we have to send in transcripts for every single school we've attended? I took some summer classes at EVC, but they weren't pre-requisites just regular GE classes so would I have to send those in also?

Hey vusache, yup! NursingCAS requires you to enter in all the coursework that you have completed (ge's, pre reqs, others), and then send them the transcript so they can verify. Hope that helps!

So yeah, just to confirm the Fall 2017 is for the Spring 2018. I also emailed Dr. ****** about it because I was confused too.

I'm a bit confused why you guys are saying Fall 2017 is for spring 2018? There's two separate programs when you go to "Add". There's Fall 2017, and when you edit the filter options to "future programs" that's when Spring 2018 comes up. As of now, you can't click on it, because when you do it says "program coming soon". I applied to Fall 2017, and everywhere I check like in the program materials it says Fall 2017 with the deadline being sept 16 2017. I'm a bit irritated that the program app didn't open when they said it would, and no one is saying anything about it. Like I get it's Labor Day weekend but really... they give us a date and when nothing happens on it nobody says anything?? Like are we just suppoosed to sit here and wonder when we can apply until the deadline passes..

Hi Panera :) thanks for replying so fast! Do you know approximately how long it would take transcripts to be received electronically? I didn't know we could them in early so im freaking out that it won't be sent on time :(
