SJSU Fall 2015

Hey guys! I thought I should start this thread as the semester/quarters are coming to an end and bringing us closer to submitting the application! I just want to get a general idea of the pool applicant for the Fall 2015 semester.

Does anyone know the cutoff for Spring 2015?

Fall 2014 cutoff was 7.35 so it probably raised.

PreReq GPA - 3.80

TEAS - 86.5 % (plan on retaking it)

impaction score - 7.56

I hope I can get a better score after retaking the TEAS V!

Hey! No I already attend SJSU and my impaction score is 7.55

Hi paisleybird,

I was fortunate enough to obtain a very good TEAS score, my impaction score is 8.78. I had ap credit for English 1a, so that helped a lot since I don't do well in English classes. Good Luck to everyone.

edit: sorry, wrong calculation, it should be 8.34.

I think everyone who live around San Jose should get the letters by now...super happy ^^. I can finally be at peace .^^. I can finally sleep with no worries tonight..

Congrats everyone!!

I got my acceptance letter as well, but have decided to take a spot at a MEPN program at USD.

So at least one "pending" spot should open up.

Phew I made it! I got accepted with an impaction score of 7.33!!!

Fall 2014 initial cut off was 7.09 and since the cut off this year is 7.25 it's definitely increasing!! Good luck to everyone and can't wait to start in the Fall! Let's make this a memorable journey!

@paisleybird I hope you get your letter soon! Where do you live? I believe my score is a 7.16 but I'm not sure if I calculated it correctly. My units are different from what SJSU accounts for according to the BS info packet. I'm so nervous. I really need to find out ASAP because I also got admitted to UC Berkeley to study something different from nursing. Not a bad back up plan if you ask me :yes:

again, if anyone else is in pending status, please post! I feel like I'm all alone here :crying2:

@misskp I am in the pending group as well. We can call, but I am not sure if they will let us know because from previous semesters, they wouldn't give that information out. We should know where we stand in 3 weeks since those accepted have 2 weeks to send out their decision to the School of Nursing. Are you sure you calculated your score correctly? The letter stated that the cutoff is 7.25. Also, congrats on Berkeley!
