SJSU Fall 2015

Hey guys! I thought I should start this thread as the semester/quarters are coming to an end and bringing us closer to submitting the application! I just want to get a general idea of the pool applicant for the Fall 2015 semester.

Does anyone know the cutoff for Spring 2015?

Fall 2014 cutoff was 7.35 so it probably raised.

PreReq GPA - 3.80

TEAS - 86.5 % (plan on retaking it)

impaction score - 7.56

I hope I can get a better score after retaking the TEAS V!

@feebster I'm so glad to hear from someone so quickly! I don't know if I calculated it correctly. I want to call to find out, but I feel bad bugging her when I'm sure her phone is ringing like crazy. What is your score if you don't mind me asking?

Okay guys I just called her and she told me my score was a 7.17 and that I'm "around" number 6 on the pending list. She was very nice!

Freaking out now... That's pretty low.

So @feebster if your score if better than that ur above me! Good luck!

If anyone decides to go somewhere else, please post! It will help ease my mind.

@misskp Don't give up! Last Fall, 12 people gave up their spots! If I calculated correctly, my impaction score is 7.248. I plan on calling her soon. Also, dianeward posted on the previous page that she has decided to go to a program in San Diego instead of SJSU. We are one step closer!

Thanks @feebster! You should be at the top of the list! Way to go!! My stupid TEAS score brought my impaction score way down. If I don't get in by May 30th, I don't know what I'll do. I have to let Cal know by June 1. Ugh.. More waiting!

Finally.... the letter made its way to my mailbox! So much anticipation ..phew.... now YAY!

So what is the next step for Transfer students?

@paisleybird I hope you get your letter soon! Where do you live? I believe my score is a 7.16 but I'm not sure if I calculated it correctly. My units are different from what SJSU accounts for according to the BS info packet. I'm so nervous. I really need to find out ASAP because I also got admitted to UC Berkeley to study something different from nursing. Not a bad back up plan if you ask me

Wow...you got into Berkeley...thats' awesome! Congrats. May I ask which major you got into there?
