SJSU Fall 2015

Published

Hey guys! I thought I should start this thread as the semester/quarters are coming to an end and bringing us closer to submitting the application! I just want to get a general idea of the pool applicant for the Fall 2015 semester.

Does anyone know the cutoff for Spring 2015?

Fall 2014 cutoff was 7.35 so it probably raised.

PreReq GPA - 3.80

TEAS - 86.5 % (plan on retaking it)

impaction score - 7.56

I hope I can get a better score after retaking the TEAS V!

Is there anything else to be done before we are able to do the drug test in Aug?

I think we need to just see our doctors and update our shots

Do they send a copy to them too? I'm not sure and I want to open my envelope to see the receipt.

I think it is safe to say you can open it. They want you to actually keep a copy. And they have copies as well.

They send an electronic copy to the school

Is anyone planning to take another class with the 4 nursing classes? I'm not sure how busy first semester will be and I have already taken 100w.

Well I have the 4 classes plus the 100w. I think my schedule is full. Haha.

For transfer students, we don't register for classes until orientation right?

How hard is the sjsu program?

Do you have to take other classes such as the class recommended after the wst?

When will we have to update our shots?

Lastly does anyone know the best place to get accommodation?

Is that the initial mandatory orientation? Anyone going for the one happening this week?

I am going to the last mandatory in August... Haha. And I think we are able to register for classes during the initial orientation and the new student workshop for the nursing program we find out more information about nursing stuff... That's my guess. I would bring all the documents you might need when you go to orientation -- nursing acceptance letter, that calendar sample of nursing classes, etc.

To the people that turned in a check for the intent, has your check been cashed in yet?
