SJSU FALL 2021 BSN

Hey Guy! I am creating this for those applying to SJSU Fall 2021 nursing program. I wanted to see what the applicant pool looks like! Here's my stats so far:

Big 5 GPA: 4.0

TEAS: 80%

Impaction score: 6.66

I don't feel so confident due to how competitive it's been :/

When you calculated the GPA, did you use the units state on the SJSU Nursing prerequisites page? Or your college's units?

Well, I used my schools units but I believe they’re the same as SJSU’s. I’m not sure it matters since my Big 8 are all A’s anyway but I could be wrong on that. I don’t really understand how the different units relate to GPA.

I have one B in all of the grades. More units means it can pull my calculated GPA down more.

This is just university admission right not the program itself?

Hey, I got that too. I believe that's just an acceptance to the university. I think I remember hearing from an advising session that we should expect to hear from the School of Nursing in regards to our admission decisions for the nursing program.

Which email are they emailing you at? Is it your SJSU email or personal email?

Hey!

Does anyone knows how they are going to choose A3 requirement? I took ethics and logic, but I have a better grade in ethics. I hope they choose my ethics class instead?

Which is A3 again? Pretty sure you assigned the classes you took for each pre-req on the nursingcas application (SJSU specific section)

Does anyone know if the 0.25 is added to the prerequisites GPA or the overall GPA?
