Simmons College Sept. 16' Cohort

Hi there! I'm new to allnurses. I was wondering if anyone in the Student Nurse Practitioner forum is either currently enrolled at Simmons or is anyone out there waiting to get in? I applied last week for the September 2016 Cohort, and just received notice yesterday that my application has been sent in for faculty review. Anyone else sitting on pins and needles like me! LOL! Thanks for any feeback *Sorry if this topic has already been covered

I just received the news that I have been accepted into the Nursing@Simmons fnp program for the Fall 2016 cohort!!!!! So, my statement was successful.

Congratulations on your acceptance!! I did not get accepted when I recently applied, but I did not have my BSN yet...maybe that had something to do with it. Anyways, I am going to apply again now that I have completed my BSN. I did get a couple new references too, so I hope that helps!

I am in the process of applying for the November cohort. The admissions counselor is out of town until the beginning of June, so things are at a stand still until then. I have also applied to University of Cincinnati and Auburn. I hope between the 3 schools I get accepted to one! Simmons sounds like an amazing program, but the $$$$ is something I am having a hard time justifying still.

Hi Erin B! Congrats on your acceptance! I'm PT, I tried applying for FT, but since I'm working full time and a newer RN, they made PT a condition of my acceptance. I want to finish school ASAP, but I'm just so thrilled to actually be doing the last leg of edu goals that I'll deal with it and be patient! Did anyone take the health assessment course? I have to do that too before school starts
