Hi there! I'm new to allnurses. I was wondering if anyone in the Student Nurse Practitioner forum is either currently enrolled at Simmons or is anyone out there waiting to get in? I applied last week for the September 2016 Cohort, and just received notice yesterday that my application has been sent in for faculty review. Anyone else sitting on pins and needles like me! LOL! I applied to Simmons College (Nursing@Simmons) to the FNP program. I have my ADN, and a Bachelors of Science degree in Science but not in Nursing. I feel confident that my letters of recommendation are strong. My experience is LTC, SNF, and hospital nurse management. Did any one else get accepted based on those terms or similar? I am worried about not having my BSN. I wonder what are my chances when the admission acceptance rate is posted at 60% :/ I am super exited and hope I get in!!! Fingers are crossed.
