Hi everyone! I just submitted my application for Simmons fall 2019 start for the ABSN program. I would love to hear about everyone's backgrounds!
@Maki777 It kills me to think about, but it's $67,200. Attached is the course plan and credits. (48 credits x $1400!)

Ughh yeah that’s a lot! Thanks for the info, that’s super helpful!

@CNAGG - Is there an updated curriculum? The one linked above was from this year - I wonder what the 4 extra credits are for/if there is an extra class?
@AVB913 I'm not sure! I was told that last month, maybe they updated it since then? I know the 2-year program still says 52 credits online, as they have an extra 4 credit course in the first semester that the 16 month program does not have. Maybe they recently removed it from the 16 month program?

Nice to meet you! I also did my undergrad in psychology. What do you do for oncology? I'm hoping to possibly specialize in oncology in the future, so that's really cool that you were able to do that.
I'm nervous about not working as well, however when I talked to an advisor she told me that we will typically have classes 2-3 days a week with 1 day of clinical. So although she doesn't recommend working, most students typically do hold a part time job during the program, even if it's only a few hours a week. I'm planning to start the program jobless and then begin working if it seems manageable. I am coming from California, and after seeing the rent prices I'm hoping that I will be able to work atleast a little ?
