  1. Yes that's really nice of you! I just messaged you as well. AVB913- I was thinking of starting a Facebook page. If you want to add me my name is Noelle Mercure. I'm in the Advanced Patho class this summer so I know the names of a few of the girls and then hopefully we can add everyone eventually.
  2. Nice to meet you! I also did my undergrad in psychology. What do you do for oncology? I'm hoping to possibly specialize in oncology in the future, so that's really cool that you were able to do that. I'm nervous about not working as well, however when I talked to an advisor she told me that we will typically have classes 2-3 days a week with 1 day of clinical. So although she doesn't recommend working, most students typically do hold a part time job during the program, even if it's only a few hours a week. I'm planning to start the program jobless and then begin working if it seems manageable. I am coming from California, and after seeing the rent prices I'm hoping that I will be able to work atleast a little ?
  3. Not sure. I was also accepted to MGH so trying to weigh the pros and cons of each school. Do you know where you will be going?
  4. I was accepted as well! Is anyone going to the open house this Saturday?
  5. No I live in California. It took about a week to get here from the time that the website said it had been mailed.
  6. I just received mine today and was accepted!
  7. Have you heard anything back yet? I'm assuming letters are going out really but haven't heard anything from the school.
  8. Hi! Thank you for starting this thread! I just submitted my application as well and am excited to hear everyone's background and experiences as we go through this nerve wracking process together. I have around a 3.6 for prerequisites and a 3.7 for cummulative. I have worked in a health care setting for the past 3 years and scored a 90% on the TEAS. (although it's not required, I added it in any chance that they might consider it). Do you have any idea when they will be notifying us regarding admission.
  9. Hey guys, Best of luck to everyone applying! I applied on Dec. 3rd but am also completing my final prerequisites right now and won't be able to send in my final transcripts for those courses until early January. I did take the TEAS and believe I'm going to complete my current prerequisites with A's, so if that's the case I'll have around 37-38 points. Does anyone know when we should be hearing back about admissions?
