Hi y'all! Just wondering if anyone has applied to Sierra College for Fall 2019. It's my first time applying and I'm excited/anxious.

Good news from the nursing informational night, last year they only had 125 eligible applications in the lottery and all 10 alternates got in. Those are fantastic odds compared to years past!

I did! Along with SCC and ARC. My second year applying at Sierra. Sierra is my first choice since I live in rocklin and earned my degree there as well. I turned in my application last week with 75 points. Good luck to you!

Went today and their office was closed! :(

I saw they have 127 applicants so far.

Hey guys! Does Sierra have 2 application periods per year or just one? And do they take the highest of teas or first attempt?

No they only accept applications annually for fall semester. And they take your first passing TEAS score.

Hey there,

I applied to Sierra, ARC, SCC and Yuba. Now that the application period has closed I'm getting antsy! I looked at previous threads and last year students were notified on April 18! I was accepted in to Yuba but Sierra is my first choice.

I'm shocked that there were only 127 (plus mail in) applications. That seems so low! ( but better odds for us- no complaints here!) Good luck to us all!
