I've been a BSN for 6 months now working in L&D. Our census at work has been low lately and we're over staffed, so management has been telling people to stay home or sending them home early anywhere from 1-3 shifts per week. Since I can't count on getting my hours, I'm wondering what kind of other nursing jobs will hire a new grad part time ?

If you're not picky, or too concerned about pay rate, home health visits (most lucrative of these all), or private duty home health would hire you :) even a family practice clinic could be able to get you part time hours. Good luck

I would suggest another unit at your current facility since you're already employed there. The 'issue' with this is that once you start floating, they will forever be pulling you. The bright side is that you wouldn't have to worry about empty pockets again.
