Shut off at 210 on Nclex-RN

Published

Sooo took the exam yesterday (03/24/15).....Nervous wreck right now and I'm not sure what to make of the exam. Anyone else got shut off at 210 and pass? I just feel that 210 is a weird number to stop at. Why not 205 or 265 you know? I felt confident at the beginning of the exam..then before I knew it I felt like I failed....... :/

Stopping at 210 questions is no weirder than stopping at 205 or 265. It means nothing. It does not indicate passing or failing. OF COURSE people have stopped there and passed.

Hang in there. Most people don't feel at all confident when they leave, MOST actually are pretty sure they failed....but MOST DO pass on their first attempt. Odds are in your favor :)

Good luck!

Thank you for the encouragement. I am looking on the positive side and hope I can post back some good news soon. The life of a nursing profession sure knows how to put a person in a roller coaster ride that's for sure.

Can you get quick results? It doesn't matter the number of questions...I got 75 and was in tears because I wanted more questions to really be sure I proved myself....I thought I had bomb in 75 and I was a wreck for two days till I could pay for quick results...

Ok so I just got my result this morning....I PASSED!!! I did the PVT Trick after a 24 hour time period also and it had the good pop up so I'm guessing it's pretty accurate. I live in Texas and yes we have the Quick Result which I happily paid the $8 dollars :)

Yay so happy for you!

PVT I put cautious optimism on, but if you paid the fee for the Quick Results and it says you passed...you passed! :D

Congrats!

Thank you! Yes I had my optimism about the PVT also RNsRWe. So I waited to made sure I truly passed with the quick result. Again thank you so much for the encouragement!

Congratulations!! May I ask what study materials you used to prep for NCLEX and approx. how long did you study for? Please let me know it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hey racheltc I used PrepU to do questions probably about 600 questions. I also did the Hurst review and did their test questions. I did 4 out of their 6 exams. I spent about 2 weeks covering the hurst book aND read rationales for the ones I missed. For the most part I'm pretty decent at core contents and patho.

Thanks for replying! Congratulations again RN!!

Congratulations
