Hey guys! I didn't see a thread for applicants for Sam Houston State University BSN Fall 2019, so I decided to make one. I am in the process of making my NursingCAS application.
My Stats:
Teas Overall: 86%
Math: 93.8%
Reading: 85.1%
Overall GPA: 3.5
Pre-Nursing GPA (according to GPA calculator on shsu website) : 3.5
I do have credits from SHSU, and I also took MATH 1370. I am not a licensed CNA, although I did take the course.
I got in guys!!! I’m so excited. I just got the email inviting me to join cohort 18. I got pulled out of the alternates yaaaay. I can’t wait to meet you all. Is there a Facebook? I’m super hyped

Hey hun based off your stats it seems to me you should already have been accepted. did you have issues turning in you vaccines on time or still have coursework going on or a late application? I don’t know why you would still be an alternate honestly

Yeah not to be weird but I thought about it all the way to school but there had to be something funky with your application so I would call? because I can see money being a slight factor but not with stats like that. Some of us(myself included) got accepted with stats lower than yours
