So I just started working and I know I should probably wear support hose.. But I cannot work in panty hose.. no way.. not gonna happen... Are the support socks good enough? I don't want to end up with vericose veins from working long 12 hour shifts....

I'm interested in trying some too, especially the thigh-high ones.

I wear thigh high ted hose. Can't and don't work without them. I tried going without them one day and my legs were aching so bad. I can't stand panty hose. Even the knee high Ted hose help.

I was curious about these. I have lots of pairs from my marathons. But, they're all in ridiculously bright colors. Hot pink, apple green, etc... Will anyone see them?

rubato, I used to wear the bright blue ones I have under white scrub pants, no one ever noticed. they are much better than anything....

Have you tried their high compression shorts? Saved my butt literally!

varicosities are pretty individualized. if you get them, then you want to support them to decrease the chance of their expanding (before you have them sclerosed :D) , but whether you get them has nothing to do with whether you wore "support hose" or not. "if it feels good, do it" has always worked for me.

i've had severe arthritis since i was in college. it runs in my family, unfortunately. my mom browbeat (!) me into wearing the knee-high and thigh-high ted stockings she bought for me. they helped quite a bit but i absolutely

hated them when i was younger!

i swear i could have gone six months without shaving my legs and no one would have noticed!:D

Yes, LOVE the compression shorts. I have a messed up piriformis muscle that's pinching my sciatic nerve. I couldn't live without their shorts.

THeir shorts are the best thing ever. If you live anywhere in Florida, I can recommend a Massage Therapist who will fix that piriformis forever. (I had a high hamstring issue after surgery.) I say wear your pretty compression sleeves to work!

most of my female staff swears they wouldn't be caught without them...

If you need it, wear it.
