Should I tell my employer about a public reprimand

I have been reported to the BON due to a documentation error. Hired an attorney and looks like I have a 50-50 chance of receiving a public reprimand. I was fired at my previous place of employment and have employment elsewhere. Can I get fired at my current place of employment due to a public reprimand? Anyone have experience with this?

i wouldn't. unless explicitly told to do so by the BON, no thanks. part of background checks at facilities is to make sure your license is in good standing. once they look for it, theyll find it. and when they ask you about it, answer honestly. til then, dont ask; dont tell

I would not disclose anything at this point if it were me. Being investigated is not public and will not be "searchable" until disciplinary actions are decided. You might end up with a closed case or disciplinary action that will not be made public unless you dont hold up your end. Of course I would see what your lawyer thinks.

I would speak to an attorney for advice.

I would at least talk with the attorney and wait for the Board to say what their decision is. Then again, I don't know what you allegedly did or didn't do.

Best wishes.

Write to BON and ask for advice as what you should do in this case. All bases covered.

Make sure you have an extra $2000 with you, when you ask your attorney.

That's a scary place to be--good luck.
